The WeighTrainerUSSR Yearbook 1974 Squat RoutineThis spreadsheet will draft up a 3 week program consisting of three squat workouts per week. This program was first presented by V. Maslaev in the USSR Yearbook in 1974, but I first saw it in Arthur Drechsler's Weightlifting Encyclopedia. The routine is not as intense as the 1976 version and is meant to be part of a full routine and not just a squat specialization routine - it is not a peaking routine. There are two options with this routine: If you can handle a large work load then you may wish to try the second option after you first experiment with the first.
